Key learning outcomes:
The Policy Renewal Process | Level 2 module’s learning outcomes relate closely to the learning outcomes of The Policy Renewal Process | Level 1 module. However, as the name suggests, this module concentrates on putting the more theoretical content learned in The Policy Renewal Process | Level 1 into a practical framework, whereby learners physically compare a variety of documents such as proposal forms, expiring policy covers and quotes. These detailed analyses, along with the group discussions that follow them, and various broker/client and broker/underwriter conversation examples, vastly expand the learners’ insight into best practice for the renewal process. This enhanced awareness further reduces the potential for errors and omissions, and importantly, also contributes to higher service standards and superior advice to broker clients. The underlying theme of this practical training is building learner professionalism with clients and insurers alike.
There will be a short break in the middle of the unit.
Once this module is completed, the learner will have a deep understanding and skills relating to practical processes associated with The Policy Renewal Process. They will also be more capable of comparing a variety of documents and identifying important client-related changes and / or coverage changes in those documents.
